Compared with aluminum-plated zinc alloy, the chemical properties of galvanized layer are relatively active, so the anti-corrosion ability is different. The test under the same outdoor conditions shows that the service life of aluminum-plated zinc plate is more than four times that of galvanized plate.

The aluminum-zinc alloy structure of aluminum-zinc plated steel plate is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon solidified at 600℃, and its entire structure is composed of aluminum-iron-silicon-zinc, forming a dense quaternary junction crystal, thus forming a strong and effective barrier to prevent corrosion factors from penetrating.

Corrosion resistance:

The corrosion resistance of "55% aluminum-zinc steel coil" comes from the barrier layer protection function of aluminum, and the sacrificial protection function of zinc. When zinc is sacrificed for protection in the cut edge, scratch and abrasion parts of the coating, aluminum forms an insoluble oxide layer, which acts as a barrier protection function. Aluminum-zinc alloy steel coil has been subjected to outdoor exposure tests for more than 20 years in various atmospheric environments, and it has been confirmed that the cutting edge protection function of 55% aluminum-zinc steel plate is better than that of galvanized steel plate and 5% aluminum-zinc steel plate.

Heat resistance:

The heat resistance of 55% aluminum-zinc alloy steel plate is better than that of galvanized steel plate, and the resistance to high temperature oxidation of aluminum-plated steel plate is similar. Aluminized zinc alloy steel plate can be used in high temperature environment up to 315 degrees.

Reflectance:

The 55% aluminum-zinc alloy steel plate has a high reflectivity, which makes it a heat-resistant barrier. The thermal reflectivity of aluminized zinc steel is almost twice that of galvanized steel, so it can also be used as a roof and panel without painting.

Lacquerability:

Because of the excellent adhesion between the zinc layer of the aluminized zinc steel plate and the paint, it can be painted without pretreatment and weathering treatment when it is used as a sign board for general use. The galvanized steel plate needs weathering treatment and pretreatment.
