Description

There are three factors affecting the raw material quality of Q195 galvanized square pipe: the mechanical properties of the square pipe are unstable, the surface defects of the square pipe and the geometric size deviation. First of all, the yield point and tensile strength of the square tube are too high, which will lead to the forming difficulties of the square tube, especially when the wall of the tube is thick, the resilience of the material will increase, resulting in a large deformation stress during the welding process, and the weld is prone to cracks. Secondly, when the tensile strength of the square pipe exceeds 635 MPa and the elongation is less than 10%, the weld seam of the square pipe is prone to crack during the welding process. Finally, when the tensile strength is less than 300 MPa, the surface of the square tube is easy to wrinkle due to the soft material during the molding process.

Q195 galvanized square pipe is generally produced by the national standard GB/T3094-2000 technical standard process. The standard adopts seamless steel pipe as raw material and is produced and processed by cold drawing technology, referred to as round and square cold rolling (drawing) process. The performance strength of the square pipe produced by this standard is better than that of the welded square pipe formed by welding process.
